2 door Corolla 74 mod, technical suggestions req

yeahh....thats what Americans can't think....as some one said is really true "Dosre Pathan" :P.....as if someone here is pathan....i don't mean to degrade but its just a saying :)....yeah but what if they are having intercoller installed :)...and 1.5 lacs....hmmm its not pretty much but its maybe around 1.25.....just try to get it around that.....anywaysz car was not as bad as it has to be...in normal condition..interior looks like clean......if you are really gonna do...just take it...

i think i would be eventually changing everything in the car and just use its body.just looking for a car with a non accidented body with a low price tag.
Counting on @aridsoul to find me a 2 door rolla with a low price tag

If you need ultimate power then instead of 4AGEs, try 3S-GTE or 1JZ-GTE, and if are stuck with 4AGEs then try 4A-GZE although engines avaliability may be very difficult but aforesaid engines are best engines...

4A-GE 4Throttle performance in front wheel drive cars is not exceptional ... Here in karachi there was an AE-100 with stock Silver Top but car usually beaten by other normal track cars like GTti and Starlet 2E-TE etc..

If you try to put this engine in a rear wheel then it will loose performance as compare to front wheel ...

You will be spending money ... I think go for some thing big that gives best results...

i am not a pro racer brother.
just taking this project of building a car for fun sake. The engine bay of 74 is not to big. The engines u have mentioned i guess are of supra's?they wont fit in this tiny car.....
if i go for a rare engine?Finding the spares in the long run would also be a pain in the butt....

yeah hash...its better to get 4AGE rather than supra ones....if you put its much difficult to maintain and manage that + much heavy for 74 rolla...4AGE 16V is best or 4AGE 20V :)...seen many 20V installed as Straight engines..their transmissions might required some mods or they put some different tranny fit perfectly with that setup

bro I think you should go for 4K or 5k engines, they will fix bolton and they will not even heavy for your 74 corolla...If you dont wanna race...you can have fun with stock as well...

keep us updated, one of my friend is having 74 rolla but its 4 door and now as he as got another car, that one has gone to his village. my eyes were on that car but it was 4 door.
anyways i will let u know if i found any good rolla with 2 door here in lahore. great work is going on (y)

brother, the GTTI i bought had already went through the difficult part (engine swap). it had small but many things to be fixed, exterior, interior, foundations etc.....
the car serves it purpose to the fullest no plans to sell yet

Looks like a 75-76 rolla to me TE37 to be exact with different tail and front lights. Everything can be bought from a toyota dealer ( Cabe Toyota) in Cali.
I have one sitting somewhere.
