2 million Budget car

I have a budget of about 2 million and want to buy some good family car. But still undecided between PKDM and JDM.
My preferences are comfort, should be good in fule ecenomy if not extraordinary, automatic (if possible in budget). It should have good resale as i am currently have a job in UAE and there is no reliability about our jobs, so if i have to sale it in urgently there will be no issue and no big loss.
I am considering Honda civic Rebirth and Toyota corolla GLI/ALTIS1.6 new shape from PKDM. I think i can get a god bet of civic in this range. But if i go for corolla i will have to get Manual GLI as automatic GLI has very poor fuel economy. Can i get good and clean ALTIS 1.6 in this range. Big no for city plzzzz.
If i go for JDM, i will not consider any 1000 cc JDMS as i have recently sold VITZ 2013. So the option will remain like used Aqua, FIT and Fielder, if i will be lucky to find some good deal and car.
Please advise me what are best options. I am in no hurry as i will be coming to Pakistan in near mid of August.
Also i can stretch my budget by 1-2 lac if i can get realy a very nice deal.

buy a corolla 1.6 altis if resale is of extreme importance

aqua is now 22-23 plus.

vitz is 20,

altis new 1.6 is about 32.

Yes dear resale is important but it is like when i need to sale, i should not get surprise offers and not the call as it is not market car. As i know car is one of the basic needs not luxury, similarly if you are using a machine it will be devalue. But devaluation should be upto some extent. can i get clean new shape Altis in this budget even it is 2014/2015 mode. As I dont like to go for the older one.

Yes dear nfssaad,
it is getting almost impossible for common persons specially job holders to even touch these new cars. It is the sad story. i have sold my Vitz 2013 in the start of year in 14 lac, so that i can add 3-4 lac to buy a bigger car, but .....
But i was not considering the fresh imports or new cars, i want something that is good and clean machine without many issues.

Ok,
what is about Civic, I think it has more goodies and shashka. Also as i think it is not as bad on resale. But i have concerns about its maintenance specially steering unit and catalytic converter.

What are the major differences in Simple prosmatic and vti oriel.

Rebirth has no maintenance issues. My cousin has one. Used like a mule, driven 75k kms so far, no issues at all. Resale is big no with civic, civic is only good in resale as long as it's the current variant or incredibly clean, otherwise it's not half as good as a Corolla.
The difference between a scratched and scratch less car is immense in a civic. PakWheels used car segment can show that. Prosmatic is auto, oriel is with sunroof and ug is with leathed

Thanks dear dayrider for your kind response,
So if i want to go for some JDM, as i am thinking like Aqua, Fit and Fielder. What is your suggestion. I think aqua has best resale, but it is too much cramped room, plus minus same or even less than Vitz. Then Fit or Fielder will be good options in this regard or will give me hard time.
2nd thing can i get some good clean JDM from these in my budget. As i have already mentioned i will not go for fresh import, but wana check some 2013-2014 used option.

vitz has alot more leg space than an aqua.
JDMs are expensive when graded, difficult to find one and since they are a challenge to source, those who have them, ask prices that are not even worth considering.
Fielder makes sense but it will give you "a hard time". So I suggest you stick to corolla, as it won't give you "a hard time".

I am getting Altis 1.6 Cruisetronic, 2012 model, Lhr registered, 42 k km odo. In see green color. Car is clean body wise. Only bumpers are in touching. Overall condition is 90-92%. But it will cost me abt 17 lac to 1730000. Is this price justifiable for 7 years old flop model. Other thing will this car be issue free for me in almost next 3 years.
Or i should go for new shap gli in about this budget. The other choice can be 1.6 altis 2014-2016 model. But new shape will be at least 3-5 lac expensive than this. Plus it will like automatic gli with bigger engine and no features.
Please advise me.

It's a great car. It's not a flop model, economical as well as decently quick. If it's originally 42k km driven and well maintained, it won't ask for anything other than regular maintenance till atleast another 100k kms. The price is appropriate, go for it.
