i wanted u pplz sugestion in choosin b/w 2.od saloon n altis in terms of
1 drive
2 comfort
3 parts
4 fuel consumption
5 resale
6 power
7 intrerior (i think they hav the same except 0d saloon has kenwood cd changer whhivle altis pioneer 2 din player)

nah brutha i went to rawal motors n is aw bith of the cars n i asked wats this he said its a kenwood cd changer so duno whether he was telin tha truth

The cars are basically the same, just this year they've announced alloy rims with the altis alongwith the new grill.. besides that i'm listing the only differences..

Fuel consumption.... dunno about the 2.0d but the altis is 9-10.5/13.5-15 city/high way with ac
2.0d prolly has alot more resale than altis right now
No doubt about it, altis' got it all
Both have the same mp3 player

2.OD saloon is way overpriced.
Not very comfortable either. Altis is much better.

bhai altis is 1.8 vvti and 2.0d's old crappy engine is has been in corolla since many years!!!!!!

crazy425 u are rite. The 1.8 vvti is much better. the 2.0 D needs the d-4d engine like the diesel engine here in uk.

one problem with vvti engines. They seem to drink a lot of oil. I know a lot of taxi drivers here in uk who are fed up with them.

For normaal driving the vvti engine is good, but for taxi driving it is bad.

Both cars i think away different except Body,

Saloon fdar better if u want for a bit rough and tough situtaion as Diesel Engine has far more juice especially in many terains.

But Altis is new Technology its more towards Decent Choice but keeping the Fuel(No CNG) n Resale its on the lighter side but VVTi Engine Rocks as Compared to 2.0 D.
