I own a 2002 model Santro and have been pretty happy with it's performance til recently.
I have not been driving so much on Petrol til recently but now that we Pakistanis have been forced to use the more expensive fuel, my car does not cooperate with the more expensive version, the one it was built for i.e. My car does not have strong enough pick or acceleration and jerks and misses on Petrol. On CNG it seems to run just fine.
The all knowing Ustad says that it's surely the fuel pump that will cost me 2200 Rs (Special price for me from Ustad.. 3500 for others ... DUH ! ! !)
My question is should I check other things in engine before accepting Ustaad's suggestion as I nomally do to mess up my car thinking it'll actually be fixed this time. :).
I read a lot of threads and think it may have something to do with Emulator but want to get more opinions before i delve into it.
