2003 BMW 7 series petrol or diesel?

I need a help with choosing between bmw 745li petrol or a 7series diesel version of the 2003! Everyone whom i ask before buying a 7 series always stop me by saying it will eat you up as the system always gets one or the other malfunctions, gentlemen kindly help me out here?

Avoid diesel as they are not suitable for our substandard diesel quality . If you really wana buy 745LI then get it checked from some german car expert mechanic for fault codes and sensors as they are very much complexed machines .

First of all, BMW, Audi, etc. may be sincerely avoided, when it comes to German brands. They are a bit fragile, not that reliable, and their systems are quite complex, and difficult to access.

Prefer and go for Mercedes Benz always, in Germans.

Then in any car, always prefer and go for Petrol version.

Diesel variants may be avoided, as quality of Diesel here is quite substandard, compromised and adulterated.

If Diesel engine will develop any malfunction, or nozzles start misbehaving, etc. then repair costs may be quite high, and you might not be able to find a reliable, trust worthy mechanic, who knows how to properly do the job.

There are a lot of mechanics who work on Mercedes still you will be able find an idiot who swap a 2jzge in one
Some of the old Mercedes cars are very reliable but parts are expensive because it's a MERCCCCC
