I own a Vitz 2003 (2 door variant) 1000cc. The cooling of AC has been perfect. However during the winter when i used to turn AC on it used to make a noise on start from the compressor. I thought that was normal or just a ball bearing sound. Right now in summer time the car is getting heated and turning off if i use it with AC. But the AC is cooling perfectly.
Local mechanic says for compressor change with belt, pipe etc costing 32k. Should I be going for compressor change?
