who says thai accords have a good resale..he is losin 5/6 lakhs within a year.

He bought the car in jan 2006, now its feb 2008.
The car is 2 years old, not 1.

The demand is way too much. Firstly this model retailed for 24 lacks when it came out. After 2 years you're expecting to lose 3 lacks only on the car? Accord depreciates really fast since it has expensive parts and a new model is out anyway.

A more reasonable price is 17 lacks tops, even that is asking too much.

Don't get me wrong, I love Honda but the price just isn't reasonable.

The new Model that is coming out in Pakistan around april will be priced alot higher, than the list price of 240,1000/- at honda dealerships. 2008 accord will be priced around 2.8million confirmed.

This accord is bigger, more comfortable and luxurious than those crappy cl-9s, looks much more elegant too.These thai accords are getting popular day-by-day in Lahore, karachi, faisalabad and sialkot. since it's launch around 650 units have been sold to-date. and hence their is no mentainance and spare parts issues, whatsoever. parts are decently priced.

I'm pretty sure that i will be able to sell it above 19lacs.

as far as the civic is concerned, just bought it, so no plans to sell it for 3-years.

dude i dont know about luxury or spare parts issue but looks wise CL9 beats the thai accords hands down..no match wutsoever looks wise.

CL9 has beeN such an perfect accord that it shape has not been changed once since it was launced.(few minors one but nothing as a whole) while the USDM accords keep changin their shapes but still do not match upto cl9.

rest drive wise .luxury wise i dont have any idea about the USDM ACCORDS.
and resale i guess its the same for both of em..u suffer big time.

This accord has the same wheelbase & same interior room as the CL series. It is in no way bigger or 'more luxurious' than the CL series.

i dont know but i read somewhere in a review that the US accord is bigger inside than the Euro one.

The seats are a bit different thats probably why it feels like that.
