Thank you, the R3 model includes a 300-watt Bose audio system in surround sound, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, Recaro seats, a revised rear wing, rocker-panel extensions, a stiffened front suspension crossmember, higher spring rates, firmer damping via Bilstein shocks, and 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels wearing Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 225/40-19 run-flat tires (which I don't like). But more importantly, the Renesis II includes a third oil circulation pump, putting to rest worries of oil-burning, engine compression dependability and longevity of the earlier models.

Another difference I felt from Gen-1 is, the R3 has slightly more grunt in lower RPMs, although torque remains the same in both variants. The Recaro's are a true definition of what 'body hugging' means and takes some time to get used to. Shall give a more detailed overview on the R3 vs Gen-1 after i've racked up some miles

well these are some handsome upgrades so in short it makes rx8 an owner friendly car unlike its previous predesccer

[/I]Seriously though, it sounds like the "real deal" like you quoted. From a cursory look, I'd tend to agree with you about the tyres. Get some meat on those wheels.

Most importantly, drive safe little brother. Primarily...because, well...you know...you ARE my little brother, for starters. But also, because I don't want any scratches, dings, dents, or chips on the vehicle, when I wrest it away from you.

Dear Brigadier, thank you for your eloquent choice of words & praise for the car. And dontcha worry, she's getting all the TLC 'she' deserves :P. As mentioned to you on the phone, I'll be going for slightly fatter tyres for a more meaner look, however, I shall be hanging on to these ones too for a quicker & faster start off the line when we race eachother for 'pink slips' once your behemoth of a car is ready. Come on now, i'm really getting anxious and impatient to kick some 'senior' butt on the race track and speaking of race tracks, we still haven't decided where we race. Would it be the Motorway, Murree Expressway, the Lake View Go-Cart Track (on special permission ofcourse) or some other piece of asphalt you may want?

As for Mikaal, he seems too smitten by his taaya so i've written him off. I'm thinking of making an offer to Master Shayaan Hafeez as my 'wingman' instead

Please ask the 'Ustad G' to get his royal behind into completing the Camaro, as 'I feel the Need, The Need for Speed !!!!!

Azeem, I've already owned a Gen-1 for almost 5 years as a daily driver, and i have driven it everywhere possible/impossible without any issues. The only difficult part is getting used to the attention it demands (frequent oil checks, idle running before starting a journey, low ground clearance etc). And you drive this for a week, you'll get used to developing/over coming these habits. And anyone who says that the engine just last a couple of thousand kms is just plain ignorant, I drove mine 50k+ and once i sold it, it had hardly lost its original engine compression, and its still being driven like anything.

Yes bro you are rite my chachoo was in uae about 5 years ago and he bought rx8 brand new there he droved it till 76k miles and the car was as good as new now he sold it and bought all new 7 series
