2009 or 2010 Corolla GLI suggestion

Hello everybody,

I want to buy 2009 or 2010 Toyota Corolla only petrol 1.3l, GLI, manual transmission. This will be my first time to buy a car. I want to know in which price range I can get this car. My budget is 100K. The main reason of buying corolla is fuel economy. i own a toyota crown whose avergae is 6-7km/l. I need a car which can approx double the average like 12km/l.

so plz tell me what should be average of this 6 year old car, within city with AC and without AC. plz give me the figures near to reality. i want to buy just because of my old cars high consumption of 7km/l.

Your budget is 100k or 1000k ? Btw corolla for fuel efficiency hahaha you might get 10-11km/l

I assume you meant 10 lac.

I would suggest a Honda City idsi 08 model if you are after fuel efficeincy. It's a very fuel efficient car and you are likely to find one in good nick in the budget.

Bro you wont find a good Corolla in that price bracket! A 2009-10 Gli costs from 12-14 lacs depending on the condition and mileage, either expand your budget or go for a Honda City as advised by other members

And yes forgot to mention, I get 16KMPL easy without AC in Islamabad, with AC it drops slightly only to about 14KMPL, in ideal driving conditions with minimum stops on my 2010 GLi. Its done 55k KMs so far and is a timely maintained car! So good luck finding a clean ride
