2009 Xli color faded

Assalamo Alaikum dear members,

I am interested in purchasing this vehicle but some color is faded as you can see in highlighted pictures below. Fading is present on:
i. boot/trunk
ii. on top of roof both sides

seller said that his car was parked long time in sunlight but I need your expert advice. thank you

This is not because of sunlight. This is because of use of poor quality car cover. I bought one such cover for my Vezel and it started to scratch paint within days so threw it away.

other member is very right it is the car cover which destroyed color are resting curves. a good painter can mark the lenghts of shape and color it very nicely. afterwards good CHAMP PALEESH will blend the new color into previous.

if you are GenYen Gari freak keep it that way , it will be like wearing a wrinkled tie with a fresh suit

Top cover ofcourse.if it was due to the heat ud be seeing it at more places. Personally I would get spot touch ups with the use of blending thinner on specific areas. Baqi aap ki marzi

this is a common issue

in PK a bake paint car will sell for less then a car showing all of its "Astar" out like this one

It’s due to abrasive polish, for example cosmic.
Stop using it and start using a good wax.
