I just got a 2010 Corolla Altis. It has an issue where the trunk light does not turn on when the trunk opens. After about 2 hours of diagnostics, I found out the physical 'switch' that is attached to the trunk lock inside the trunk is faulty.
I'm wondering if it's possible to get a new replacement in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. I want to avoid going to sultan ka kuh. I'm sure it's identical to the same part that goes in the latest Corolla. Will Toyota have it in stock?
