2010 Cultus VXRi Repair and Maintenance

Dear PWers,

I am currently looking to buy a used car in budget of 1m mainly to be driven by driver to pick and drop my kids to school and other house chores. I live in Karachi.

The options in front of me are Cultus, Alto VXR, PKDM Alto VXR converted to 660cc Alto Lepo, and Mehran.

I personally prefer Cultus EFi due to its spacious cabin and low maintenance cost.

Question 1: Which of the above options should I go with considering maintenance, fuel costs and resalability?

Question 2: IF I pick Cultus, what will be the cost of new AC, Radiator, Waterbody, Clutch and Pressure plates for Cultus (as these are the parts most like to be needing replacement in a 14 year old Suzuki).

If anyone can suggest any other option, do let me know. Also experts please share your thoughts about Alto converted to 660cc Lepo

i didn't see the Hyundai Santro in your list.
Santro's AC is best, seats are comfortable, suspension is nice, Cabin is good, and maintenance is easy. Everything is available in market.

Old shape Cultus is good but it has bad ground clearance, seats feels like touching the road while driving. And also i never see chilled AC in cultus.

Quiet honestly, I think it will be very difficult to find a decent Santro at this point in time.

Also, a Suzuki can even be maintained via a 3s dealership if need be, and parts availability will never be a problem. Old hyundai will always have resalability issues as well.

Then go for suzuki cultus. Its all parts are fully available.

Get a Mehran or locally assembled Alto. It's hard to find a Cultus EFI without heating, RPM, and/or AC issues.
