Hay, I'm helping a friend do some maintenance on his Twingo since he was quoted 2k Euros by Renault. He does not want to spend that much and the lowest a garage offered was 900. I offered to help do everything but just wanted to make sure about the Engine Oil.

Was wondering if I could use any of the oils listed below
Shell Ultra Professional 5W-30
Total Quartz 900 5W-30
Or if there is any other recommendation, that would be great. I am also hoping any input on the coolant type. Everyone on the Renault forums recommends the Renault type D coolant but I'm looking for alternatives since I hope to keep the cost of the materials less.
