Definitely not if its a oriel pt.Its very much faster than city pt

My approximate figures for 0-100 km/h for both the cars is 11 seconds for Civic Oriel Prosmatec and 12.5 for City Prosmatec :):) Correct me i am wrong!!!

Very much right.But i think city will be more slow .it will do 100in like 13.5 sec bcuz the manual does in 12 secs

Dude i think you are quoting the correct figures because as most of the people in this thread said that the CITY Manual does it in 11 secs but i think its 12 but on this great website where loads of people are sitting day and night, no one ever provided a 0-100 km/h video of the 2012 City M/T or P/T which was my basic need as had to make a decision of buying it or going for Fielder 1.5 VVTi which also i think is capable of doing 0-100 in about 12 secs!!! :):)

well i own a civic oriel prosmatic,n i have manual car as well,so i know the difference
u can push manual in each gear but u cant do that with auto

city does 0-100 in a maximum of 11 secs. not more than that whatever a man may do, provided he shifts like a good driver.

Thats a fact. City pulls hard with an altis 1.6L even after 100kmh. Altis can merely run parallel to a city and can't leave city behind by any chance if it has an intial lead.

With the city driver doing rev matched shifting, altis has no chance. i myself have tried it on my city.

P.S. ur belief isn't necessary at all. (H) just providing u with a fact that swift is slower than city. probably by a second or two, BUT slower.

true. the max time an ivtec city (with upgraded ecu software) i.e provided by honda in 2010+ models, can take frm 0-100 is 11 seconds.

few videos made by ahmadbila are there. City does it in roundabout 11 seconds when he isn't shifting in proper intervals cz he made the vids for top speed. not acceleration/ 0-100.

Think of proper shifting and u get periods lesser than 11, in every case.

dont know the exact 0-100 but my car does 0-100 in between 8.5 to 9 seconds

a city in 1/4mile is around 2 cars gap behind at 100 speed ....so it must be doing in around 9.5 to 10 seconds

all the cars doing above 11 r either slow or driver does not know how to check them properly

all cars in pak manusal ...1.3 or1.6 or 1.8 do 0-100 in what ever timings

yet a 1.3 will be on the tail of a 1.8 when reaching 100

C'mon guys. Altis, Civic, City & Swift are just cars made to go from point A to point B. What difference would half a second (or even a full second makes) on these types of cars?

Insteading of discussing 0-100, we should be talking about comfort, driveability, fuel economy etc. etc.

it was a 6 speed manual transmission, FYI.

again, I respectfully disagree with ur "got no chance" point. Be realistic. :-!

it was not a drag race at all. just random pulling with that altis. altis dude was redlining in every gear. and to tell you, I am no formula one race car driver. I am just an average daily driving person.

ATTENTION PAKWHEELERS!!!

0-100 km/h sab kuch nahin hota ek car mein sahi kaha aap logon ne lekin 0-120 km/h, 0-140 km/h aur 0-160 till 180 km/h bhi bohat kuch hota hai...In my point of view the car's acceleration matters the most in its valuable features aur aisa bhi hota hai jo car 100 pehle touch karti hai zaroori nahin ke woh fast ho means to say i have heard ke a brand new Suzuki Swift DLX touches 100 km/h faster than City 1.3 lekin baad mein City rapes it badly lekin is ka meri nazar mein koi faida nahin kyunke saara maza initial pick up mein hi aata hai and thats why i buy cars and drive them till 100 km/h and enjoy the whole journey...Maybe i am the only PAKWHEELER who does this...I only buy cars for their pick up and the real way to judje the car's performance is measuring its 0-100 km/h figures!!!

P.S All Car Manufacturing Companies in Pakistan should also quote the 0-100 km/h timings of their cars on their websites like Mercedes Benz quotes them on their websites in their specifications for example 2012 Mercedes Benz C250 2.5 L 201 hp 0-60 mph 7.1 seconds!!! :):)

Are you GMKAZI the one who posted a 0-180 km/h video of his 2005 Civic VTi Oriel on 7th Avenue Road in Islamabad and a 0-140 km/h video of Suzuki Cultus on F-5 ISB on youtube some 4 years ago...I have watched the videos a million times and i just love them...If you did that then i really praise your work man...In the videos the CIVIC 1.6 did 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and the EFI Cultus in 11!!!
