Hello Everyone,
I have a problem with my swift. It's overheating and I am certain that the gasket is busted. Checked for the usual signs; oil cap was milky, water being reduced in overflow reservoir, radiator was serviced recently, fan motor replaced as it had play and was slow as per the electrician. The fan is on auto and thermostat valve has been removed as it was faulty. I always use coolant in radiator and had checked the water pump it's fine as well. This is the second time it has happened in one month. I am from Karachi and looking for advice from fellow swift owners and experts.
Had Swift some time ago,, never ever thought of heating issue in such charming car.

Engine flush may be the option..
Mileage is 72k.Last oil change at around 3.5k
Are you the first owner? Radiator service done for what? There is no need for radiator service for 72k driven car. Always use good quality radiator fluid. I suspect that you were putting in counterfeit engine oil in your car.
You shouldn't be ever removing thermostat. It is there for a purpose. Never directly connects radiator fan.
when you say it happened for the second time in a month, do you mean the head gasket was replaced its busted again?as far as why it got busted, i'd say a stuck closed thermostat is your answer; it wont let the water to flow through the radiator and hence prevent it from cooling the engine.
I have been using this oil for years and from a trusted dealer.I am the third owner of the car and I removed the thermostat valve as it was faulty.Yes the head gasket is gone again. Guys I need urgent assistance for a well known and trusted mechanic who actually knows what he is doing and good electrician as well.
