2013 Toyota Corolla Gli or 2009 Toyota Prius Fully Loaded

Hi guys,
I want to buy a new car, the two best options that I have are 2009 Prius (old shape) or the 2013 Gli. I really find it hard to decide as it's going to be my fifth car.
My current cars:-
->2003 Honda City ExiS Automatic (White)
->2005 Toyota Corolla Xli (White)
->2010 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8 cruisetronic SR (Silver)
->2010 Honda Civic Vti Oriel Prosmatec (White)
I want to buy one of these cars, gli or prius for a short period of 4-5 months only. I have kept a gli before aswell and it was excellent.
I drove my friends prius and there is a lot that attracts me to the prius. It has the some of the exact same features that my 2011 E-class had but what pulls me back is it's re sale, Battery Problem (if any), and it will be a 4 year old car, whereas the gli will be latest and can be sold, within seconds when I want.
Please give me your suggestions, and reasons, and let me know if it is really worth buying.

As u already have 2010 Corolla Altis and you have liking for Prius so there is no fun in going for GLi except one v. important factor i.e. resale in 4 months. If u must sale it in such short time then dont go for Prius, it might give u big loss. By the way, Y don't u consider new City? u r missing it in ur fleet

Prius doesn't have that bad resale but obviously GLI is the winner in terms of resale than any other car in Pakistan
