Dear Danish! Thank You for ur detailed overview of Toyota Corolla Grande!I want to share sumthing regarding grande,that one of my friend said he drove it at the speed of 160 km/hr and it was difficult for him to stop the car at tht speed,i didnt get the point how cud a car equipped with ABS wont stop. And secondly i heard from ppl tht it gets wobbly beyond 100 km/hr due to height issues. Please clearify my points.

For every car it is difficult to stop when going at 160 km/hrs. ABS only prevents wheels from locking (Antilock Break System) so the car does not skid.

Wobbling is due to wheel balancing issues.

Dont blame the car blame the oem tyres which are nothing but a crap !

Your friend is stupid. It's a corolla altis you are talking about not a mehran or a shitzuki cultus.

140 par tu waise mazak main pohnch jati hai ye altis aur wo keh raha hai 100 plus it becomes "wobbly". LOL. Stupid people.

Sir i. Agree with this cox i also have grande 2015 my car tyres were not aligned properly on first 500km service i told them that do check tyre balancing because i am feeling steering vibration after 90km/h after that this issue is gone now !

OHO... Sir yeh baat nahe... I got my 2010 oriel prosmatec with totally farigh wheel balancing and allignment, had to pay extra 1200 Rs for getting it fixed... The car drove like poo until I got it fixed.

But it doesn't mean I start reviewing the car on this basis... One should have at least a few grams of the stupid common sense. What I am saying here now and have said earlier is based on my drive of over TEN THOUSAND kilometers in this car.

Whereas most of our wanna be professionals review like this:

"Aaj falan dost ki garandee chalai, bilkul farigh hay, BC brake to lagti he nahe, drive itni BORE hai k pata he nahe chala... 160 par darr lag raha tha, steering wheel ka maza nahe aa raha tha... overall a foolish car... meri shitivic BOHT achi hay"

Dear All Members...I just read all previous comments ,I must say that this is very informative thread.... I am an old fan of Civic, atm have 2006 Exi and 2011 Reborn. This time I have decided to go for Altis Grande CVTi (Bronze Mica), just booked my car yesterday and dealer has given me tentative date in first week of June... Couldn't decide between Super White and Bronze Color...Both look awesome but for some reason Bronze gave me more elegant look so i went for that.....I have already made up my mind on few changes after reading on this thread e.g. 205x55 tires... will keep reading this thread and update u with my personnel experience once i get my car delivered.. You are welcome. Yar in my experience i have found this particular variant quite stable and composed at high speeds and the brakes have never let me down, so far. Ask your friend to get the tyres balanced and wheels aligned.

It is an ordinary micro-SD card that i got from a mobile shop. Just download the Sygic apk(From a torrent site), install it on your android platform and you are good to go. Then you will just have to download the maps for Pakistan (540Mb).

How did you do that ? you installed ordinary micro sd bought from mobile shop and download sygic application in it and run it.. i have altis 1.6 with nav ready but no micro SD card in it. i want to do what you did .. can i have your cell number so that i can make a call and ask about it.please inbox me your cell number .. Buy a card reader and place a memory card in it and plug it in ur player you are good to go

why memory card reader.. there is already place available in Altis 1.6 nav ready multimedia system to insert the card.. did you do that too ? i am specifically asking about altis 1.6 system as it is non android system

Yar, if it is not an android then i am afraid i won't be able to help you out. Since i only know the procedure for getting it on an android device.

Yes, you are right it is a generic oil. But, then again you have to choose between this one "10w30" or Petron "20w50" (If you want to keep your warranty coverage). So i opted for this as it is being made by Toyota themselves.

Both pickup and mileage were improved after the oil change.

Bro I went to Toyota Capital to see which oils they had available. They showed me the red petron which is 20w-50. He told me they use it in all new cars. But the user manual recommends 10w-30.

They also had a blue petron pack which is 10w-30 for Rs. 2450. Do you think blue one would be better
