Members, salam
After keeping this car for a year now I am absolutely content with my decision for getting this particular variant. Now, I will give you few of the many reasons why I went for this particular car, and why I will not be getting rid of it any time soon. Insha Allah.
First of all it handles great and has a comfortable drive, the throttle response is remarkable (for its engine size), but then again you cannot drive it like a sports car and expect a good mileage.
The interior might not be as exciting as its exterior but it is quite easy to clean and is modern enough. The soft-touch material on the dashboard layer adds to its class. The air vents are also placed perfectly as they quickly defog the side windows. The cup holders are perfectly placed too. An approximately 4-inch increase in the wheelbase directly translates to more rear leg space. The headlamps are super bright especially if you have the fog-lights turned-on too.
The 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine (2ZR-FE) rated at 140 H.p operates smoothly, with a reassuring and a linear feel during light and heavy acceleration. On a good day, this engine with a maximum torque of 173 N.m and paired with 6-speed manual transmission keeps me (an adrenaline junkie), in competition those pesky Honda Civics equipped with mufflers, the size of a spaceship. On the braking front, these integrated technologies like antilock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist (BA) work flawlessly.
Now coming to the things I have to complain about would be the poor paint quality and the low-quality plastic pieces, unfortunately IMC went cheap on both of these things.
