So today this code P0977 came out of no where just started the car and check light came in upon check this is what shows up.Is the solenoid bad or wiring issue ?
beneath battery tray you see two solenoid valvebody just clean that with carb cleaner and check solenoid with battery. if any of solenoid not working get it from kabar
Will check it in couple of days as I’m not feeling well due to flu.
@capsat what causes black smoke at start after 8 to 10 hours also some time in the morning too and sometimes happens and sometimes not what could be cause. Car is starting normally on first cranking.
check pcv valve for proper working or vacuum pipe going to pcv

What's the fuel state? (which obd2 scanners tells) when car throws black smoke.
Bad MAF sensor.
If gear is behaving like crap then it's a solenoid.
Swapped with 2019 model gli sensor still same problem. Gear check light came only once and it’s not doing crap while shifting.
if u have hands on tech stream or any good scanner u can check solenoid in that menu. so any break in wire or ecu problem can be ruled out
Sadly no good scanner available with me and most of the idiots mechanic in my vicinity don’t have skill to read the scanners etc.

I have started to face two new problems with transmission may be. 1) left tyre vibrates when car shift to 3rd gear. 2) see the video please:
2nd number issue was there before but not so old.that left tyre vibrates for a while then becomes ok.
