Keep this thing in mind that the Honda Hybrid system is not as efficient as the Toyota Hybrid system, so don't expect the fuel average of your Honda to be as good as Toyota (even this switching of battery to engine power more often is normal in Honda Hybrid System), but obviously, 12 kmpl on Vezel is not a good fuel average.
Do you mind telling that which engine oil grade are you using? If you're using 0w20 oil grade from any reputable brand, then it's okay, keep using it.
Secondly, your daily commute is during the rush hour (heavy traffic)? If your daily commute is during the rush hour/ in heavy traffic, then sudden or more braking and acceleration negatively impact the fuel average.
How's your driving style? (I'm aware that you are learning to drive) If you put a heavy foot on the pedal or often do sudden braking/acceleration, then it also affects fuel average in a negative way.
If you're already driving with keeping these (
) things in mind and still getting the 12 kmpl fuel average, then I suggest you consult some expert mechanic and get your Vezel scanned for any problems, maybe it will help you getting a good fuel average from your Vezel.
The rest is your choice.
I hope it helps.
