Aoa,
I bought my 2015 Vitz F Spyder (24K km driven) shape in August 2017 , i wanted to ask three things,
1- Firstly the Eco light on the dashboard doesn't turn on even with a light foot while driving. So does the F variant have Eco mode?
2- The traction control button next to the handbrake doesn't work even though ABS is working, i have asked this question before also but couldn't get any replies. Should i be worried?
3- And its giving an average of 12Km/L in city haven't driven on a highway is this good?

ECO LIGHT should work. Check if you are having CEL illuminated..

No there is not warning or Check Engine light.
And i use the company recommended 5W-30 Oil. and using original Toyota oil and air filter changed 2 months ago.

In addition to this, on high octane fuel, I got better mileage with high octane from Total petrol pumps. This is my personal observation. Earlier I was using high octane from Shell and PSO.

Push the trip button until you get to the total mileage shown i-e 67k or whatever your car is, now push and hold the trip button for few secs (more than 10 may be) you ll see a prompt on screen "eco off" push the trip button to turn it to "eco on"
Then hold the button for the same duration nd let the mileage appear,
Now you have eco on
