Two different leagues. Are you looking for a sedan or hatch? City MT’s consumption is good. Though in the end it depends on the driving style. The new cultus is a really good car too in terms of interior, drive, comfort and fuel economy. Also there’s a big difference in token tax of both. For 1000cc, it is one time life time token tax payment. So you need to shortlist your priorities first of all. I myself have Honda city MT 1.3 giving me 15kmpl with ac obviously with a light foot (within city). Well Good luck !

Does it matter if the fuel average is 12km/L instead of 15km/L? Don't sacrifice driving comfort and quality of ride over the issue of average. Of course if the comparison is between 5km/L and 20km/L then on must select the later.

It seems that honda is best option ... yeah fuel average does matter but if u drive good then it seems one can achieve good average ... one more point i keep in mind if 2 years old car will let me live in peace or it may create trouble ? Honda city aspire is 34000km driven right now

Well i have also heard that honda city 1.5 MT fuel average is more/equal to 1.3 MT city

I bought a City in 2012 for 13.8lacs brand new, sold it after 5 years for 14.5+lacs. - And honestly, I wouldn't even be comparing a "Cultus" to a "City" - Swift would've made more sense as it's partially considered to be a car of the same category.

• It's a 2 year old car not a 20 year old car brother. I don't remember spending anything over the usual maintanence over the period I had that car. Please, don't waste your time with a Suzuki when you have a Honda.

I have a 2011 model city. 160000km done. Still in peace! I’d suggest in this price this is a very good option. Go for it!

Honda City all the way!
In fact this comparison seems to be a disrespect to Honda City (that too Aspire 1.5).
Cultus mileage in Karachi city with AC I have seen till 13-14km/l, City Aspire 1.5 would approximately be same. (assuming a mediocre driving style)
Cultus resale, if not loss, would cover the initial price whereas Honda City might be resold with surplus assuming car in maintained internally and kept original externally. Its worth mentioning that considering the price hike of new cars in past 1 year, resale value should not be a point of concern.
