Thank you.
I was looking at VW CC, but only in used market. I looked at Kia, but that much, where Subaru nope. I spent hours searching through CarGuru, Ebay, and Craiglist. I really wanted my first car to be a german car as one of my friends has a Mercedes and I really like it. Finally, I narrowed down to a BMW 3 series, I think it was 320i. List price of the car was around 15,000. If I were to negotiate, the dealer may be would have agreed to 12000-13000. I went to a dinner party the day before I decided to go to dealership. And, I shared my thoughts on the car with a few friends. Turns out, the dealerships in New York area are very smart. They replace original parts with aftermarket parts. So, itâs not worth buying car from guys in New York. And, that scared me a lot as well as buying a used car without knowing what will happen to car in coming weeks or months.
So, decided to go with a new car. Narrowed down my options to 4 cars. I went to Honda first, encountered a bad experience. Next, I went to Mazda/ Toyota dealership (Owner had license to sell both). We could not agree to a deal. Next, Nissan, I knew the sales guy through a friend as I had been to same dealership before. First time, we could not agree on a deal. I went back after a week on a slow day, Tuesday. We agreed on deal and I was driving out with a car after 4 hours.
But never the less, this car comes with all the options I wanted. I can start the car from my cell phone, even when I am out 200 feet key fob range. Heated seats and steering wheel, Bose premium sound system, nice wheels, Safety tech and more.
I am sending the car back to dealership on March 10 for protection film to be installed on the paint and for leather protection install. I have âProtect Allâ plan for the car which enables the exterior and interior protection, like light scratches and scuffs.
Ask me anything you want to know about the car.
