2016 Nissan Altima

How are you all?
Finally, I bought (leased for now) Nissan Altima ( Alhamdulillah ) . It is 2016 model. I got this car on January 3rd. (just did not get a chance to post anything.) This car is SL trim level with the technology package and few other options are included as well. I will share the invoice soon.

Btw this is my very FIRST CAR like the first car. I never had a car before this (just motorcycles). And admitting as silly as I am, I decided to go for brand new car, instead of buying a used car first and practice driving ( even though literately every friend and even parents told me to buy a used car.) I will share my thoughts on why I decided to buy a new car rather than going for a used car first.

For now I have some random picture that I will post here. I will try to take more pictures when I get a chance (or if the weather is good).

Since I got the car, the weather was certainly interesting here. (Even the day I got the car it was raining all night).

And about garage, I live as a tenant and owners dont have garage either.
In fact, most houses in the area dont have garages. I park my car on the road most of the time, unless its a snow day, then I can't as per law in New Jersey.

I know its a sad condition.
I think it is due to lack of competition between brands in Pakistan.
But may be, may be we will get lucky one day.

Yes, I try to drive safe as the car is new. So far I drove it about 1300 miles. It drives very well.
So other options I was looking at were Honda Accord, Mazda 6, Hyundai Sonata and Ford Fusion.
I passed on honda accord because I had bad experience at dealership. (Beauty of USA, there is a new car dealership in every town, dont like one, go to next one).
Ford Fusion is, well its Ford.
Mazda 6 is a great option, but I struck a deal with Nissan first.
This car was a very good option. I didn't want to get the base model anyway.(Although base model would hae costed me much less).
I will share more details as I get more time to write.

Here is the pic of the invoice, it only shows optional stuff. (And yes I cant believe it either that white paint costed 395$ more than any other color.)

Options selected very well. I would probably go for the same. And if this was somehow manufactured with the same quality in Pakistan with similar pricing it would be reasonable to buy.

Yes, it is. I will write a full review at a later point, may be after I have driven it about 3000 to 4000 miles.
So far my favorite options are blind spot warning, there is a light on both sides of the car. Usually the light blinks when someone comes on either sides of the car, but if the turn signal is on, the car beeps to warn. I found it very helpful during highway drives. Samething happens when I try to back up the car in parking lots.

Also, the car comes with ICC (Intelligent Cruise Control). In stop and go traffic, it helps a lot, I don’t need to touch brakes or accelerator as long as the car in front doesn’t stop for more than 3 seconds, or there is a red light.
Oh, and I absolutely love the remote start system. I can start the car from my phone also through Nissan Services. By the time, I get to the car, it feels good to sit on heated seat and grab heated steering wheel.
