Hi, this is the first time I've had to worry about oil changes and I feel quite lost with my 2017 Toyota Rav4 LE.
I've been getting my oil changes done as part of the Toyota Care and they've taken care of everything. Since it expired, I went to Valvoline today. I know my Rav4 needs synthetic oil 0W20. When I went there was a choice between synthetic blend vs. full synthetic. The guy working there guided me towards synthetic blend ( Valvoline 0W20 MaxLife Oil API SN) and I'm supposed to change it every 3k miles according to the sticker.
My questions are -
Should I be getting full synthetic instead of synthetic blend?
Does this synthetic blend oil I got really need to be replaced at 3k miles? That seems really early? I read on Autozone's website, synthetic blend should be changed 5-7.5k miles...
