2018 Mercedes Benz 'Star Offroading' Event

One of the Mercedes Benz dealers in Chennai hosted an event at an offroading club located on the outskirts of the city and i got an invite.The main goal was to reintroduce customers and prospects to the existing lineup of SUVs in india and capabilities. I got a chance to drive the M class. I took some pics and my co-passenger took most of the pics while i was driving, Just sharing the highlights of this event in this thread.

This was more of a beach roading site but there were slippery trails through the dense pine forests to navigate before getting to the beach.I wish i could have videotaped the SUVs groaning through the course in offroad mode, wasn't easy for the driver either which in this case was me.But, lots of fun and timepass for a sunday afternoon for me. I'm no serious offroader and i stopped going along for offroading with some friends who are in it seriously from years back.It is a lot of fun though.

the last stretch of forest was full of obstacles, bumps and puddles to navigate through that a camera was no good for pic taking in this stretch. A videocam would have been perfect.Anyways this is the only good pic coming out of this trail.
