Hello, ever since my car was delivered in November 2021. I felt like something wasn't right.
1st problem: As i drown for like 2000-3000KM, I felt a huge jitter when the car was shifting from 5th Gear to 6th gear on a highway. I ignored it at first but it kept doing it.
2nd problem : As soon as i start the car, and put it in D and drive for the very first time. I hear a knock sound from the front of car.
3rd Problem: After 3000-4000KM, i kept hearing squeaky sounds from the rear suspension. At first i thought spraying WD-40 on the leaf springs will resolve the problem, however, it did but for like couple days and the problem grew day by day. At this stage of time, I was tired of the miserable squeaky sound coming from the leaf springs. I went to the dealership and told them all the problems I faced.
Fast forward, at first they were making excuses if it comes under warranty or not, however, I stood my ground and told them that how can Leaf Springs be damaged just under the mileage of 10000KM. As these things last a very long time. Finally, they took my car for the leaf springs and said they will do it under warranty, however, the gearbox issue i faced. they just ignored it.
My point is, that i have paid 8 Million for this car and waited like 7 months to get it delivered. After all the patience and everything. How can someone expect that their brand new car will be sitting at a Toyota dealership for nonsense build quality and quality check controls. Ultra disappointed.
PS. It's the 2nd time in a week that my car in parked at a toyota dealership in karachi. I called them today just to check up and they said it'll take another 3 days. So basically after paying 8million, waited 7 months. i still have to waste my time over such issues!
