I for one am going to book the new City Aspire 1.5 CVT.
I have an eight year old Aspire 1.5 with 100,000 km on the clock, it has run flawlessly, hence decision to upgrade to another City.
I visited the Honda showroom last year to change my existing car with a slightly upgraded version, but was very kindly advised by a sales representative to wait a while as a newer shape was expected to hit the market.
Now the million dollar question of why am I being a stupid person to buy a car without looking at it first.
I agree that it's a difficult decision, my reasons are as follows
I have been waiting for almost a year to change my existing car to another mid sized saloon
Yaris came to the market during that time but failed to impress me due to its looks
I have been a satisfied Honda customer so I hope the new City will have the same reliability as the previous one.
I am already aware of its shape as we have Honda Grace on our roads,
I would have loved to have the 7th Gen, but unfortunately have no control on it.
As mentioned I was willing to buy a slightly upgraded car last year, so I'm reasonably certain that the new 6th Gen City Aspire will offer much better features compared to the older 5th Gen.
Even if it come with the same features as offered by Yaris, I will be a happy customer, though I'm expecting more.
The only issue is the price,
I will probably book a car without knowing it's final price, I hope they will keep it sensible to keep it compatative.
So there you go,
I'm the first idiot to admit that I will prebook Honda City prior to its launch.
