In Terms Of Exterior City is 100 times better than yaris, We all know its old shape but its better than yaris.
While City Dashboard is curvy and it looks premium while yaris same old concept straight like truck.
No offence but thats my opinion in shape and looks city wins by big margin.

In specs we will decide later.

If City has cruise and sunroof, It can beat altis x in no time, City already announced two features push start and smart entry and i have gut feeling city might affect altis x buyers too.

Both are different category sedans , altis is category c and city is category B.

Altis is 80mm wider and 180 mm longer than city.Wheelbase is 100 mm more. They dont compete with each other.

City has a different segment like yaris. Altis 1.6 is bigger car and segment changes. Features alone cant change segment of car. Comfort level of city should change this time but i have seen grace and it was phatta hArd.

Please no blanket statement, It is the features that make it expensive. Yaris in ME is more expensive (Approx 80k PKR differnce)

One more thing you are talking about 1 gen old city vs new yaris

The current City Aspire AT is at is 28.6 factory price.VS 30.0 for Yaris Top model

Now lets just add features to current model and see what impact it will add

1.5 for the Air bags
0.5 for the keyless entry push start and proper immobilizer
0.5 for the climate control
0.5 for BH,HCA, VSC, TC

So 3.0 for these features and i have kept the pricing to the minimum, so you are talking about 31.85 only if the features are sensibly added to the current car.

Now add the cost adder they will put for the new model?? 1.0

You are looking at about 32.5 to 33 for a City Aspire

That is very close to Corolla Altis X that will definitely get people thinking..

What will be good will be if they can price the 1.2 close to the gli yaris, that wil make things interesting

Then altisX 1.6 is hands down better. Only some jazbaati honda boy can spend on a city against altis at this price

Altis is better so far but lets see depend on features options if they give push start, keyless entry, cvt transmission n rear ac vents as well then city might be a better option as per Honda the space of cabin will be better.

I assume if thats the case then it might attract some altis 1.6 guys as well.

Most of the Indians having Honda City Sixth Generation ...SAY THAT this model is not better then Corolla Altis 1.6 in any way and wish to switch to Corolla Altis being roomier and having softer suspension and better ground clearance...

Corolla ka shape change hone wala hai, mai khod Altis 1.6 FL use kar raha houn aur City ka intazar kar raha houn ke full features, aur price reveal hojaiy. Yaris's shape is not my cup of tea.
