You most probably are right. Since we're talking about the second most greedy auto manufacturer of pakistan (consider Suzuki as the chart topper).
But the 3.0mil pricing is very much possible, since If you logically think about it; this is a phased out model which would have costed much much lower compared to any 7th gen line up (my estimate is its probably close to the current model, apart from an initial investment) , secondly the 2.9mil current Aspire saw a price "correction" when the dollar was at ~165,which it now ain't.

Yaris 1.5 ATIV X is a fully loaded with features...

push start, smart entry, digital climate control, alloy wheels, CVT, air bags, HSA, VSC, BA, ABS, Six speakers, DRLs, android player.......

their 5th generation sales crashed due to poor pricing and less features....

Yaris is 2.999 Mil Ex factory....why would anyone prefer a Honda city 1.5 Aspire.....if its 1.5 lacs expensive with less features then Yaris...

ex factory price of Corolla Altis 1.6 is 3.3 Mil.....any honda city above 3.0 mil ex factory price is useless...people should then buy a Corolla Altis 1.6 which is 1000 times better then this 6th gen city

Please avoid to talk with useless people - dealership sales guys are good for questions like 'garri kab ae ge? garri millay ge kab? OWN/ON kitna chel raha hai?' However, I've very good experience with Honda Classic as I got my ASPIRE 1.5L in only 5 days after booking without any OWN/ON back in 2017 but STILL dealerships and especially their sales staff is always been outrageous!

well if 6th gen Aspire has features similar to Yaris ATIV X then I would go for city even if its 1 lac expensive simply because keh mujhe Yaris ki shape hazam nai hoti whereas 6th gen looks more graceful, plus its as modern as current Yaris.
City has an older much wider established following in Pakistan, which proved its hype even with this ridiculous pre booking stunt which unfortunately went successful shows how much city is still in the race.
True competition starts now, it was obvious that Yaris is gonna overtake decade old 5th gen , we'll see the stats within a year now

I somehow would agree. City has a well established repute in the market. Yes the sales figures of Yaris are promising but there are two main reasons for it:

1. Toyota brand
2. Very old and featureless 5th gen city.

Real test for Yaris would come now. If they pack in almost similar features and considering how people have always preferred Honda looks over toyota in Pakistan. The proper competition will start now.

One of the major deciding factors now would be......suspension and features!

The price being talked about in market is from 25.5 lacs to 32 lacs. Seems about right.

25.5 for manual 1.2
27 for cvt 1.2
28.5 for 1.5
30 for manual aspire 1.5
32 for cvt aspire 1.5.

If true, this is a bit high. It'll compete with Altis 1.6 for people who can spend more, and for many (30-50% people in my opinion), Altis 1.6 will win being the bigger car (one category higher), with fewer features though. It'll also compete with Honda's own BR-V for the same reason.

Let's see how this goes because if true, the 1.2MT and 1.5 CVT might become the most popular variants. It'll also depend on features they'll offer in City Aspire. 1-1.5 lakh less in all variants will help City a lot.

Worldwide city is expensive than yaris so expect top of the line 1.5 varient to be above 3.0 million, even if it is 6th generation

do not listen to suneel munj and his views on upcoming cars. The guy knows nothing...told we would get the 7th gen city, in the end not true, told the altis x would come in january came in mid march. the guy has improper knowledge and speculates a lot.
