City 6th generation looks better than shitty yasir (yaris). Later I mentioned yaris is awam majboori that's why people are buying this shit.

Please don't berate Yaris for the sake of making City look good. At least Toyota offered current generation of Yaris here. They had Yaris on display on the very first day, and were offering test-drives. And other than the looks, the car is very good. It has good features compared to our market, good range of options with manual and CVT available in all variants. Most are not buying Yaris in majboori, it is a very good package. Toyota reliability is also helping it. Very good fuel-efficient engine.

Honda is launching City like its a Rolls Royce. No one knows the price or features. They are acting like it has antimatter reactors and sentient self-drive computers . Own walay laanti log to khareedain ge to sell it at crazy prices but for genuine buyers it's too much of a risk. What if the car costs 3.8 million? What if the push-start and cruise control images turn out to be April fool joke? What a way to make an outdated generation of a B-category sedan feel like a launch of a premium sedan.

Please call a spade a spade, and do not lower Yaris to elevate City. If it was this good you won't have to do it in the first place. Yaris is good and thats why it is selling. If City is good and well-priced, it'll sell as well.

Not defending city here but Yaris (current one in Pak) itself was launced in 2017
And the Honda city were getting is also the 2017 facelift one. They belong to the same technology era

If you look wagonR and yaris at the same time then you see there is no difference between width this is also a reason due to its light its front looks smaller to compare to city that's the reason why I am saying its width is same like wagonR

disagree, the platform is older. similarly you cannot say city 7th gen and facelifted yaris will be same era.

rest city has some die hard fans, so no argument will work for them. they still justify city without airbags as it has better handling it will not need those...what more do you think one can say.

Lets see what are known facts.

1. 6th gen city has better rear leg room and better than any car in this segment.
2. Has biggerr boot.
3. Has more Bhp and torque (1.5 varient).

This is all we know so far , other than that we will only know once the city is launched.

i drive a Altis 1.6 nowadays and HAVE NO PLANS AT ALL TO SWITCH to smaller CITY or YARIS even if they give 8th generation with WINGS TO FLY....lol

i have no relation with Toyota or Honda....and work as a aircraft engineer.....

I get it that you're a totally baised honda dude.
But honda owners never care about features or engine anways.
They only care about shape.
Hondas are no way reliable, civic x has had huge issues, steering, ac bla bla.
Corolla since launch has had no issues at all.
Hondas are not durable either. They're quite delicate.
I own a grande and civic x both. Grande will always be a goto car. Toyotas are always comfortable, from seats to suspension. Civic x is like a shashka vehicle, getting in and out is a pain, seats are horrible. Great for city driving thou. Toyotas are for long journey's, they last long, They're reliable.
Honda owners only care about shape that's all.
Civic has the same r18 since ages but no onr cares. That this is extremely sluggish. City current gen well that's just a beefed up mehran with brick suspension.
Toyota always gives better and newer engines and reliability.
If it wasn't for yaris, honda would not change the city. And the 1.2 will be screaming for help when you accelerate it and people will push it and hence no average as well.

I think its optimal... not an inch wasted... Yaris has the most Comfortable and refined cabin...

Watch any review of comparison video, be it indian or be it thai.. Yaris is appreciated as the most refined and polished machine in its category

City is also a good car, there is no doubt, but that does not make Yaris bad... i had Grace a couple of years back... it was the most unpleasant experience, very bad suspension, not refined for Pakistani roads... lets see what is offered locally, but after going through Indian reviews, I am sure, its going to carry the legacy...

Further 1.2L base variant is not so pleasant news, if it comes with DCT, it will surely test nerves... lets see when it comes...
