Features that can make Aspire look more premium like sunroof, retractable mirrors, rear ac vents, cruise control, hill assist, push start, climate control, rear LED ligths etc. Anything that'll make it more value to money to consumer in the competition. I know who choose Yaris 1.5 over altis 1.6 because it had more specs plus cheaper, unfortunately aspire will be more expensive so it's a do or die situation for them.
But I know this is wishful thinking Aspire will give at most half of the things mentioned.

For me and many people like me, Corolla Altis 1.6 will always be far superior car than city.
More comfort, room and nice meter clusters with beautiful alloys and altis batching will retain its buyers.
I was bit short on budget for altis, and that's the only reason I opt for city.. But if it's price similar to altis they definitely I'm gonna sell it 1st day to buy altis.

They will increase and it will still play out for them. City/yaris doesn’t compare with 1.6 even with a plethora of features

True I will prefer Altis 1.6 over aspire anyday
But not the current ugly fakelift waiting for 12th gen Altis 1.6 (hope 1.6 variant is still on Indus's plan for next gen)

12th gen main abhi time hai and price will be much higher as well. There is nothing going cheaper anyways

I think government is making is mandatory to register car from the factory

Starting this July, there will be a Nationwide Universal Number and cars will leave the factory registered. This is will break the back of investor and own mafia...

further it has been proposed to extend the transfer fee penalty to 4 months... the excise will require the bank slip for money transfer to validate the date of transaction to curtail delay in transfer to avoid penalty... further biometric will be issued with buyers ID Card to bound him to get the car transferred timely...

I don't think its wise to invest in Cars for the sake of premium anymore, who knows, they impoze a percentage fee

Altis is a superior league, compare it to entry level civic... city is the entry level sedan, Altis say comparison nahi bunta...

At the time of booking city, the salesman himself said, Sir city leta he woh hay jiss nay budget mein rehna hou, 30 plus city is not going to be a wise choice, he pushed me into 1.2 automatic PT/CVT and i am seriously thinking to downgrade it to 1.2 Manual.

Body height on current gen is a full 9 inches (I'm low on air) and lowest point (official ground clearance ) is 165 mm (6.5 inches). The newer city as previously discussed from the pic has an estimated 6.8 inch body height so hopefully it either has a better ground clearance on the exhaust pipe and everything or it has better weight bearing capacity because otherwise that car is lower

Honestly depends on the driver i've taken my civic to places where even corolla can't go. Thw ground clearance is roughly the same between a civic and a corolla

1.2 cvt will be the hottest seller. Looking forward to sale it lol

You are correct about being an own fetching variant but 1.2 CVt most probably would be very laggy and nerves testing.

BRV is 1.5cvt, city would be around the same weight plus/minus 10%, brv carries no pleasure to drive, feels very laggy... i think switching to 1.5 would cause delay so I may turn to manual variant, a big no to 1.2 automatic, it would also be the most fuel thirsty as well,

just think of driving gli auto same level of under Capacitness and to top that consider CVT lag...
