Honda Atlas put airbags on their teaser image using official HONDA images released back in November 2019 at the launch of GN1/ 7th generation City in Thailand.

HONDA ATLAS cant even take their own pictures of their own product assembled at their own facility.. to create a teaser.. pathetic.

One thing I'm sure Honda can't go down the level of official fake advertisement of its products by the AC vents and knobs in thr teaser its clear that'll we might get a 7th gen Interior minus the steering and a 6th gen exterior
I remember the pre booking somone here commented that his source is saying a "6.5" gen, everyone including me laughed at that back then, guess the jokes on us

Can you quote a real world example for the revamped interior? Atlas is an assembler not a designer though!

Aah so you're saying that they have reused the image from the newer gen city to mislead customers into thinking that this generation is going to have the same interior? Yeah sure there is a chance, but again, Honda does not have a history of posting misleading advertisement, so I will stick to the fact that it might have this interior, which if you compare to the 6th gen, is not massively different, apart from a few obvious changes. The storage cubby and the gear knob are in similar places and this gen is rumored to come with a 7 inch display as standard on all variants.

I will admit that these images do look the same, but I do also believe that you should actually wait for the car to be launched before conclusively saying that this interior won't be there. We are both present on the same forum. Let's wait and see what happens?

I would recommend you wait until the car comes out and then start smearing a brand that does NOT have a history of misleading advertisement.

I want to contradict here. Maybe they didn't say anything false, but keeping a state of confusion is the same as misleading. The did the same with BR-V in the past. They created an environment where the mix of rumors and leaks made BR-V look bigger and more equipped than it was. Many people cancelled their orders after looking at the actual vehicle.

This is bad practice.

For example. a Golf 7 and Golf 7.5 .. 7.5 is the facelift but the same generation.

Honda Japan's biggest value addition in Pakistan seems to be Shark Fin Antenna, launched with the Fakelift of the twice facelifted city back in 2017!

Indus was way more transparent with Yaris, test drives were available. Sportage test drives were available many months before the cars were officially launched. Kia put Rio for display back when apparently even they were not sure they were going to launch Picanto or Rio.

If Honda Japan even had the slightest idea about the honda city being offered without safety features in 2021, like not even a single air bag in it, they would and should have revoked the license from ATLAS.

The atlas honda city probably would have become illegal in many countries. No safety.

I think that cannot happen (that Honda Japan taking notice or even caring) until Pakistan becomes a 100,000+ new Honda cars a year market.
