It has frieght added. This price is NOT EX FACTORY. This is at destination Islamabad. Which means Honda Notification seems real on which Honda Avenue Islamabad pricing are based

The problem is we don't know the Base Prices and can only back calculate from existing prices with already applied 5% FED and then 17 % Tax.
Back Calculation tells me that new Prices should be what is shown in Picture-2 with 2.5% FED reduction

but do you think Toyota will keep quiet? I guess they left these features intentionally for the very same reason and now they will provide almost all these features except may be rear air vents. They will also see prices of city and adjust accordingly in my opinion also both these cars have a small overlapping buyers most of the buyers won't be changing decision on these features alone and suspension will matter a lot as well.

In my view this will benefit customers as now this segment has real competition which previously was non existent as size of Xli/Gli was bigger than city but now Yaris and city have almost same size.

Waiesay honestly speaking, what is factory installed is much better than aftermarket... even a simple after market modification like fog lights turns into a pain...

I hope toyota will soon add retractable mirrors, its really very awkward at times to manually fold mirrors, specially in congested parking places

Does this mean it's intuitive that people will have to open and retract it by hand?

Intuitive = not having the hassle of finding the unlit button at night?
Intuitive = Just open the window and slap the mirror open?

These features do add value to the car, and first tilt and telescopic adjustment, and now this, I see both as a good convenience and should be present in every variant of every car. So yes, they do add value over Yaris. Now, the next most important thing will be price.

BTW when is Toyota giving facelift to Yaris? Its been 2 years. Indus have been good with facelifts, and have been adding lots of features, I mean compare the Corolla Altis Grande 2014 with 2020/2021, the difference in features is huge. I am expecting the same with Yaris, I am expecting they will match the top variant of City. Will most likely add retractable mirrors, tilt and telescopic adjustment in steering, cruise control. Based on sales and feedback, they might add rear vents and sunroof too, but they are less likely in my opinion.

It seems that Honda realizes that the introduction of an older model would not be well received if they also strip most features.

With all these features if they price it around 3 million then it sure will do the trick for them for next 13 yrs 🤣 with sequential face-lifts...

It's been 1 year only, not 2.

Good from Honda if there, only given in Majbori realising they won't sale much Infront of Yaris. Yaris actually made them realize they are about to drown.
Still no info on VSC, HA, Traction Control though. So Yaris is still pretty much head to head although it is 1 year old. Honda has the upper hand since it knows what already existing Yaris offers. Toyota lead the way by giving excellent features 1 year ago.
The more features City gives the higher it's pric goes.
Rs. 3.3 Million looks quite possible now
