In my humble opinion the prices will be comparable as in the case of grande and civic x. Atlas honda guys are not stupid , they think their customers are but city is going to be the product they will be hoping to sell a lot. Pricing it inappropriately will kill the potential. The top varient will be 3.1 or less.

You can like any feature, its your personal preference. But to say TC and VSC are not "useful" while auto retractable mirrors are "useful" because it can be used daily is very misleading. TC and VSC make any car safer, whether its a Corvette, City or Yaris and safety is always good. We should appreciate Indus for giving these features even in the base model, they are far from being useless.

After bashing City whenever I had the chance, I sincerely wish City is a success and Honda does it best to give better features than Yaris. Safety feature should be respected, and the company should be given its due praise for including that. VSC and Traction Control should be included in every variant of every car. And in people's mind they should be more important than retractable mirror shashka or cruise control.

After all this pathetic launch hiding the car like it has some carbon nanoframe construction with graphene batteries, antimatter reactors, gravity altering devices for stability and warp-drives for motorway, I am surprised you and many others are still expecting good from Atlas.

See the history and be realistic.

cant understand the excessive duty on localized parts , dont they want to encourage localization?

Customs Duty on import of CKD non-localized kits upto 850cc has been reduced to 15% from 30% and for localized the duty is decreased to 30% from 46% for new models till June 30th, 2024 or from the date of issuance of manufacturing certificate
7% Additional Customs Duty (ACD) on CKD kits for cars upto 850cc abolished for 2 years
7% ACD and 15% Regulatory Duty (RD) on CBU cars upto 850cc has also been exempted for 2 years

will it impact the price of alto and other two 800 ccs?

Imo this is for new make and models of a car and alto is already here and there is no new model in the horizon and if there is one it has to be here before jun 2022 which is very narrow window

Jokes apart I mention 3.3 million because now that city has at least something to offer, they may overprice it. I hope they don't. Of course it is not worth 3.3 million.
Ideally it should be priced exactly same as Yaris, even 50k above bhi challay ga because it already has Fan-Boys but above this ye Fan-Boys Kay Saath zyadti hogee.
On a side note someone was praising City on Facebook and I asked him whether he would buy it at 3.3 million. He immediately said yes. Believe me it will still sell if priced at 3.3 million. Fans don't care, they want the new city

1. Duty on imported parts which are not yet localised, around 30%.
2. duty on imported parts which can be made locally but are still imported, duty is close to 50%

GOP is not purchasing cars, there is a complete ban, just few cars are being purchased either as replacement or for projects.

GOP is mot a major purchaser... yaris sells more because its cheaper and has more than basic features
