In Pakistan investors are making deliveries matter worst, why would a company bother to control these OWN mafia when they are getting good amount of bookings. Its govt who can control these bad practices. Govt should introduce penalties on late registration and increase penalty amount on monthly basis plus car should only be registered against the person who booked that car

By taking different measures, at least they can reduce this practice

Seems like atlas hasnt started production of city, i dont think they have enough space to park cars other than there parking space

I even saw one few days back and honda near airport. It seems stocks haven't cleared out and honda has nothing to lose since they already accumulated millions in advance booking.

Yeah it is really fun to see that dealer's stocks not clearing up. They are trying to sell on premium something which has barely any demand. They should try selling city for heavy discount and civic on invoice if they want to move anything.

One of their salesperson was recently trying to sell me an open invoice civic on old invoice and 200k premium. Then a few days later was asking new invoice price and 200k premium. It still did not sell. Then offered me to give any premium offer between 50-100k and he will get me the car. But I personally would not pay any amount of premium ever. Seems like other people are also wisening up against paying owns, people should stick to their morals and not even pay a single cent to these dealership and investor losers demanding premiums and shorting the market.

Same here. I am still driving a 2016 manual city and used to diss the shape of Yaris which makes it look like a model from 2005.
Then again when I wanted to shift to a new automatic CVT vehicle there was no logical choice except Yaris at the moment. What they are losing with its shape is being covered in additional features and market availability. I commute around 75kms daily so can't wait to shift to a CVT.

So far I have adjusted myself to the looks of Yaris. March 2022 seems way too far.

Yaris isn't good looking true.

But

It's far far good looking than the daddu Honda city idsi. Which was sold like hot cakes and still has demand.

Even sportage looks like crap from the front. Worse than Yaris.

So yeah I too have started to live with Yaris's looks.

I suppose it does look better than the pre facelift idsi. I would prefer the facelift idsi shape over Yaris though.

The problem is it looks the worst in white due to all the black plastic in the front.

This does have some merit though. I've only ever seen Yaris in white. Will keep a lookout for other colors to see how it looks.

I'm neither a City nor a Yaris buyer but one of my cousins has bought a Yaris in black and in my opinion, it looks better than the City we have in Pakistan right now.

Probably a reason for this can be being sick of seeing the same shape of City for the last 12 years or maybe the Black looks good on Yaris.

idsi is what? when there was no iphone years old. Yaris is now and king of ugly sedans at the moment. Its hard to find a current sedan uglier than yaris.

Black has negatives that outweigh Yaris looks in white. Personally I dislike Yaris back light design. It's hideous. Front is ok for me even in white.
Black/grey has additional problem of maintenance and

I disagree, for me BRV is the ugliest especially the hideous grill and Mehran like bonnet. Lol

Yaris is now and king of ugly sedans at the moment. Its hard to find a current sedan uglier than yaris.

Yaris only has Alsvin as competition in current cars. New city is good looking but haven't been launched yet. Alsvin is better than all in looks though.

Also, Sportage is the worst looking SUV out there too. But is the most selling.. just like Yaris is the most sold sedan.

Upcoming city has the best front and Interior in compact sedan category.
Altas is giving the pre facelift rear this time so can't say much about that, I like the black strip of the facelift version looks more sporty

Yes, that why my friend, didnt get it till now. In fact i myself already booked city, as at the time having some finances short, but later due to long wait, i have checked to change my booking to civic.
If someone sell on open invoice, then it means this car is from showroom alloted pool and invoice is yet to be generated.. I got my 9th Gen civic on open invoice in 2012 at time of launch, without paying any own money.
