What I don't get is , unpaid bloggers is one thing , but the owner of PW's saying confidently to millions of his views that 7th gen city will be launched without any concrete evidence to suggest this , that is just being ignorant.

On 1 hand I have seen SM say in videos " Ham jaldi news laney k chakar mey kabhi nai parey gay" on other hand you see stuff like this, so either SM knows something we don't or he is literally clueless.

I personally know someone who is business owner of automotive parts making company. I have given him a task to get me any update.

Keep in mind, HONDA employees has signed a very strict NDA. Few years ago they fired number of people in relation to leaking information.

I personally think.. we all are making an opinion on basis of our judgment after knowing some facts. Maybe its 7th generation City which we all currently have difficulty to understand.

I will share whatever I get to know.

If you see 7th gen city indian reviews
You will come to know that.
7th gen City is not that big and special as people are portraying it here on this fourums .

Even not something technological advance

Price of base modle civic is 3.6 million.

And even highest model 7th gen city can not be expensive or even close to base model civic.

Even in india price of Highest spec 7th gen CiTy is 14lack 60 thousand.

And price of Highest spec Yaris is 14 lack 30thousand.

To phir Pakistan main CIty ko aake aise konse par lag jane hain jo woh Yaris se itni mehangi hojaye ke loog City lee hi na sakain .

"Honda ask their vendor to stop 6th generations parts till further orders" said a Honda Vendors guy.
that's mean Honda is between 6th and 7th generation models.

A Honda vendor say when they asked Honda guy why you want to stop your 6th generation parts order... he say Honda 6th generation is not suitable against their competitor Yaris after conducting market research. So Honda management stop the 6th generation parts order and ask their vendors wait till final decision.

Meaning we are still a good 6 months - 1 year away from the launch. Well at least they came to their senses, that's good to hear.

An interesting move by Honda .My assumption here is (Still on that assumption) 5th generation City is better in many aspects in comparison to Yaris . Now if i were Atlas Honda i can look in to this direction .

Keep the 5th generation City (Add on feature Steering control ,CVT transmission in Auto ,Air bags ,Standard Alloy rims) with 2 base models only 1.3 Auto/Manual . (2.4 to 2.8 million)

Launch 7th generation in 1.5 and 1.0 Liter Turbo . (2.8 million to 3.2 million)

What these will do it gives Honda a leverage in multiple segments first they will have a car feature wise competing with low tier segments of Yaris/Upcoming Proton /FAW and other) .Secondly Honda can jump into entry level Corolla 1.6 segment (which was missing earlier due to discontinuation of Civic 1.5/1.6 .Its a bold plan but surely a winning plan .Remember Honda has to compete in compact sedan segment as well

Just to add, there is 6th generation prototype, locally produced [ NOT a CBU ] at Honda Atlas premises.. that is why local vendors were working on GM6 parts. Back in Corona day , 150 employees were tested positive for Covid19 and the entire City project went on hold.

Maybe Honda Atlas shifting to 7th generation..
