the 1.5 turbo definitely has had issues throughout the world. Honda's NA engines are great though. But there is also the issue with those direct injection earth dream engines of valve carbon build up. And unlike toyota, honda does not include port injectors with direct injectors to reduce intake valve carbon build up. Toyota's new NA engines are pretty great nowadays, with no real issues and making loads of power. But it seems like we in pak will never get those new toyota na motors any time soon.
Steering issues as far as I know have only been happening in pak. AC condenser issues in civic x have been happening throughout the world though. Airbag issues have been with any company using takata airbags. I think new model cars don't have those airbag issues. Honda's old autos sucked, but the new 9sp autos and cvts have been quite good. Plus hondas have always had pretty much the best manual trannies.
Honda seems to be back in form now with the 11th gen civic and 7th gen city. All youtube reviewers seem to be highly preferring new hondas now over any competition.
