Yes, i myself started thinking that i had make a big mistake booking aspire cvt before launch as prices are insanely high. Even decided to cancel my booking. But before visiting honda dealership, i decided to visit Toyota and changan. Seen yaris closely for the first time and rejected immediately after watching cramped interior and ugly exterior. Corolla altis is way better than yaris in terms of looks and interior but again its only advantage is bigger size. Otherwise price is 1 lac higher than aspire cvt, with no auto climate control/rear vents, retractable mirrors, navigation, fog lamps, leather interior, cruise control, smart entry/push start and most importantly no cvt. Super ECT 4 gear transmission is too worst for power, comfort and fuel economy. ECT alone is deal breaker. 1.8 corola cvt price is 4 lac higher than aspire cvt. And delivery time of altis auto is same as new city which is 5-6 months. BTW does corolla altis auto has VSA, TC etc? Obviously No. Then why not having VSC, TC in city is such a huge issue when we are happy with altis without these imp features. VSA, TC is very useful safety featues but it doesnt help much yaris with so much raised hight, which rolls on corners like hell. Ppl also saying that add some more money and buy civic. Civic ug is around 4 million. 8.5 lac more than aspire cvt. Also seen alsvin but it looks inferior china ka mall with no reliability. Even their sales guy admit paint quality issues and delivery delays. So now i m struck between 1.5 cvt base and aspire cvt.
