Fair enough. But a factor that needs to be considered this time around is that city goes for 2.45 million right now. Yaris starts from 2.51. Honda will have to compete with yaris which means the new city should be priced around 2.5-2.6 million. (this is the reason why they are rumored to be going with 6th gen instead of 7th). So, if the new city comes in at this price, wouldn't it send a ripple effect down the line for previous models?

Pricing for new Honda City will most likely be much higher, 27-31lacs depending on variant, Turbo 1.0 if launched will be even higher.

Whereas the middle class will get rid of their mehrans and cultuses very soon, it is highly likely the demand for current generation city will go even higher.

Next gen city if it is launched will be priced above 2.6 million...but yes...current gen city will retain it's market...it is still a very good car nonetheless....so if you want to buy it go ahead....
