again rise is due to high cost of raw material at vendors end which eventually hike the price
on other hand companies taking advantage hike their prices hiding under this price hike while making good profits out of these opportunities . local development is again based on their sales and cost. the parts are usually asked to be developed locally but they might just import it if their production target is not completed or sales of car is minimum to do mass development of part so they rather import
all the models with more than 30% of imported parts should not be allowed for mass sale . there shld be a clear cut policy on this. all kinds of local development possibilities are there.its just they dont want to avail as they care more about their sales and business instead of benifitting the local development .
