spoke to a trackingworld rep. he says you have to remove the unit to insert the sim in the slot which is on the side or the bottom.

pretty stupid that for something so basic i have go to some technician or the showroom for them to remove the panel so i can insert a data sim

Just confirmed from tracking world representative, data sim slot is at the back of unit. For installation u have to remove unit.

trackingworld seems a legitimate company that must have officially imported these units. hence they must be pta approved

for tracking app i checked a few options that might work. https://www.mycartracks.com/ is one of them. tho the free version has limited functionality

Trackingworld should also provide mobile app free of cost , they normally provide an ID for login and purchaser can use it for free.
