Boss, just use a Faraday pouch... it blocks signals to quite an extent; so the FOB will work only when you are really close to the car within a foot distance; Secondly the choor will have to be standing right next to you to clone the key which is obviously impossible. So no risk of cloning if you use a faraday pouch.
Deactivation will cause many problems as you will not just lose keyless entry, it also deactivates push start, Auto lock, keyless trunk opening and immobiliser etc so you have to reactivate again everytine you need to drive your car..
So just get a faraday pouch put the fob inside it and carry that in your pocket... all functions of FOB will work and no risk. Lock the car using the button on the handle. Same goes for trunk.
Don't remember the exact procedure but I guess it was something like this.
Press the lock button and press unlock button twice while keeping the lock button pressed till you hear a beep. To reactivate you just need to press any key on the FOB.

The only issue with the pouch is that you have yo keep the key in the cup joldets around transmission or on the dashboard really globe yo the push start button or you will get Key not detected error.
Or simply take the key out of the pouch when you are sitting inside the car. Put it back in before getting out in a market place.
