Well, the GN1 is platform for 7th which it shares with the Fit/ Jazz . As far as 7th, I am sure there will be no 1.3.

For the 6th, maybe we get it in Pakistan with 1.3L

DCT's are always bad news, especially in countries like Pakistan. If I'm not wrong, Grace shares the same powertrain as Vezel. Has it had DCT problems reported too?

yes exact same . Both DCT and same problems for both. Vezel had replaced DCTS in Pakistan. our Pakwheel vezel thread has some news about it in the past.

No wonder Honda is not offering it on their newer Hybrids

There was no 1.3 in 6th gen.

Thanks for confirmation. Lets see if there is an option on PKDM. As GM2/3 platform is not very different from the GM6, maybe they will integrate the 1.3 in it.. Again too early to say..

Well, 1.3 and 1.5 both fall under same tax bracket. Plus both have more or less same fuel average. So im guessing, we’ll only get 1.5 engine

1.5 will definitely have CVT so what would 1.3 have if it comes? CVT or the same old prosmatec?

So, hopefully we might see the automatic climate control with digital interface along with the manual knob type... Again you dont know Honda Atlas eat this feature on an already discontinued model. And as of head-unit, obviously it will be locally supplied.

Pakistani awan don't care about exact cc. 1300cc buyer will buy 1330 cc car but not 1498 cc.

1.5 is with CVT for sure and if 1.3 comes, maybe Honda don't offer it in Automatic or maybe carry over what we have currently in the City.

Honda Atlas had better introduce something fresh quickly as the public will quickly move away from the present City. Recapturing a lost market takes a lot of efforts and investments especially if the competition (Yaris) is well equipped and of the latest generation.

Brother I think, irrespective they launch 6th gen. or 7th, they may go for already existing 1.3L and 1.5L engines, as found in current 5th gen. City. and if their fitting / installation is not an issue.

Similarly, I also think about CVT VS AT. I think, instead of CVT, they might opt AT.

They might not introduce new engines here altogether.

And these 1.3L / 1.5L engines have proved quite dhaaeet here, and they are confident with it.

May be, they do not try new engines, CVT, etc. but again, these are just my thoughts, and can be totally wrong.

CVT

CVT would be there. The car imported was with CVT transmission
