Since honda is offering climate control or automatic ac in BRV, City is bound to have it too (plus toyota is advertising as only car in class to have push start and climate control).

Honda retails 1500cc only for rs.50k extra then the 1300cc base model.

Somehow our mentality didnt approve it. You hardly see any base 1500cc Citys on the road.

Toyota launched 1600 at gli for 125k extra then the base 1300 Gli. 75k being for at and 50k extra for the engine. Still we didnt accept it. 1600cc (facepalm).

Honda raised the bar 1299 to 1329 (rebadged). Same tax scale. But they didnt deliver base 1500cc I dont know why. ( pushed people to go for aspire instead)

So maybe if honda thailand keeps providing the 1300cc engine they will keep going for it.

I still wonder why hasn't toyota offered a base 1500 for yaris. The 1300cc Gli is useless. Same tax bracket almost same HP figures. It's just the thappa Pakistani awam goes for (bheirchaal).

Since BRV wasn't offered with AT I am very much optimistic they will drop the conventional AT now.

If BRV being used in commercial can do with the CVT, City should be good much, plus the added fuel efficiency.

Im also having the same feeling that City will come with CVT, digital climate control and Push start. And there will be only one engine option that's 1.5

The current City is available at almost 28 lacs, 1.5 lacs cheaper than Yaris without a single feature
If the new city come equipped, it would be 30 above easily

For 3.5 - 4 million Grace is a very bad option IMO. A CVT 1800cc corolla can manage better mileage figures. So for that much a local Civic Corolla is a better option.

The Hybrid grace can maximum do 15 kmpl and 12-13 on average. Nothing better then that.

City will remain the car for the masses. They will definitely keep it competitive since they have competition. With Baleno and Liana City ruled the segment. People would buy the basic variant and compare it being better then basic Corolla.

Now Yaris is here and it's going no where. Honda would keep things tight.

Pakistani cars always get better lcd units. I was amazed to see the Indian corolla with choti si lcd that looked weird

They get bigger lcd units that stop working every five minutes.
