For Islamabad registration. I want a certain number. Can i go my self for it to the authority? Or will i have to get agent or dealership involved? I dont have Islamabad residential address on my nic.

Also with the kpk registration at 1 PKR whats the pros and cons of getting kpk registration?

If you don't have Islamabad address then you'd have to get an agent involved. Agents would charge about 15-20k extra.

Btw safe city cameras still aren't challaning Islamabad registration cars?

This is a very good average for driving at 135-140 km/hr. Keep in mind it'll give much higher at speeds of 110kmhr.

All modern cars in 1.5 to 2.0 engine range will give pretty much similar averages at similar speeds. (excluding hybrid).

Those agents usually random addresses, can add an address of your choice too like your rental house. You can maybe give rental agreement copy to help your case as well.

Asking because I do have a rental house. But my only proof is rental agreement, utility bills etc are all in owner's name. And I have kept my permanent address (Lahore) on NIC. I want to register in Islamabad but without the use of an agent.

Then you'll have to get the address updated from NADRA. Just go to any NADRA office with your rental agreement and change your temporary address on your CNIC.

You can ask you House owner to give you biomateric for change of address ( esahulat guys know it). that the only thing you need to get car registered on Islamabad address (if not on ID).

if you keep your speed at 100 to 110km/h you can easily get 18 km/l with cruise on.

Its 1.5 long average is at speed maintaining at 135 to 140 and with many runs up to 170. DHA LHR to Islamabad in 3hrs without ticket.. Like i was pushing car but with safe margin and in safe limits.

However with my civic x 1.8, I get slightly better or similar average with similar type of driving.

Yes. I have seen that post. But my point stands. At 120, it going to be even better. Speed increase and decrease on cruise control is really bad. The RPMs spike up, to around 3.5k (atleast on my Civic) resulting in a worse fuel economy. I honestly think that if you try and hypermile this City, you can get around 17 (no proof of course, but I will try it once I take delivery inshaAllah).

when ECON is off, the car push at max to reach cruise speed (after Resume). if ECON is on its will very gradually increase.

normally I like to push hard on accelerate initially to reach desire speed and if in city do hypermiling to maintain or when on motorway put cruise on... for me it gives best average.

This explains it. With the total distance and driving speeds , this is good as you have also touched 170 .

I do this in my manual swift. Higher rpms to reach speed. Skipping gears. And cruising under 2k rpm. Gets me upto 13 in city

I remember agents demanding electricity bill as proof. And I think if bill doesn't match then cnic copy of the person who's name it's on has to be given. Not really sure of the exact modalities.
