very true. One should buy car for his use not for future owner. and honestly there is no major difference in resale even if you sell it after 2 years. If you kept it for longer period still at the end of the day actual condition and how well you have kept your car will define its resale value..

, as there is almost 0 depreciation on cars, in fact it value appreciates, so we consider it as a profitable asset. For the purpose, instead of enjoy cars, we do extra protected mats on original carpet, even reluctant to remove Shoppers from seats, stickers from car meter ( have seen many corollas with part number sticker on meter even after 2 years
. and keep all stuff save for its future OWNER.
even have seen people installing new seat covers on top of Leather seats to protect them for future buyer. So if people can go to that extend, then getting car in december and just after few days its an year old model is definetly a deal breaker from them
