Sir, City is still selling, mostly own is less on 1.2L variants. No 1.5L CVT variant is available for less than 130k.

Still booking time is long good about 4 5 months..

Secondly drive wise, interior room and ambiance, pick and acceleration and seats comfort. City Yar far far better car than Yaris. This is I'm not saying as I own city but what I have feel after driving both cars.
Right now only Yaris is outselling City, because of less price and shorter delivery time.

In SKT the cars have been parked since least last 2-3 weeks ...dealership is quite close to my house and in my daily commute...

Yep they are asking around 200K own ... but they have been unable to sell many units despite generous drive tests and extremely courteous staff.

For booking they are giving earliest time of around April 2022 (I think its intentional as investors haven't been able to sell their cars yet..

Agree something is fishy as banks are getting cars earlier than a normal walkin customer.

1.2 variants have very low demand. 1.5s have a bit more demand. 1.5 basic seems to never be available, I'm assuming because very few of them were ordered before the price reveal. Aspire CVT and 1.2 CVT are always available everywhere, but the aspire investors are still earning a decent premium compared to 1.2.

1.5 aspire manual has 0 demand. My local Honda dealer has had one for 2 months now. Every time I go and ask about it they say very high demand, yet that particular car is always there in display. The investor of that isn't giving in to the low ball offers either. Wants 150k for it or else no deal. Would be very funny to see that car become a permanent demo car due to the investors reluctance to cut his losses and get ruined by multiple people coming in, sitting in it and treating it like a demo car every day for like 6 months.

Also this model is surprisingly rare on the roads even almost 3 months after release. Many investors are now hoping for a price increase to make their investment actually profitable, this is for investors who've gotten cars and getting no offers.

Seems like at the end of every month dealer and investor mafia starts spreading the rumors of price increases, while it's pretty well known that the government is enforcing no price increase till June 2022.

Might just be veiled threats by the Mafia to keep own rates high. Car manufacturers here keep on reporting record profits, doesn't make sense. Plus with these rumors, even the less popular cars are gaining a lot of traction like the Elantra cause of lower delivery times and better chances of avoiding price increases. The other booking stoppages might just be bs as well cause for example cars like corolla already have a long list of bookings waiting to be delivered, so they can just not book new cars for a couple months and reap in the own profits.

I gave partial amount of 1.2 m at the time of booking. now After paying remaining complete paymemt.. roughly after how many days my car will deliver?

If you are taking Yaris price as a reference for over price (which initially I was also considering), then trust me CITY is not overpriced. There is a huge difference in Drive and Cabin room and feel. Yaris in not even close in drive and cabin room.

Anyone who have driven both cars will have similar feedback.

Umar bhai I also own the same city but itna bhi nahi hai. On long routes, I would prefer Yaris over City. Yaris's steering feels more hard on the motorway but City feels soft.

Yes agreed. But still the manufacturing costs should be quite similar. That's why internationally both were similarly priced, in some cases like India Yaris was even more expensive actually.

Toyota lovers should definitely consider Altis 1.6 over Yaris 1.5 though. The difference is huge and the price difference isn't that much. Yaris is one of the most boring cars I've ever been in and is kinda uncomfortable in the back seats as well. Has a really congested feel in the interior too. Only the 1.3 variants seem worth buying cause of being reasonably priced compared to the competition. 1.5 Yaris is also easily 100k overpriced, really not worth the extra 230k over the regular ativ.

There is not hight adjustment and also steering has tilt adjustment only in Yaris. Which makes the driving position very odd. Specially for me (I'm 6'2" and fat ). Its feel very congested. No left foot rest.. yes steering feel is better but acceleration is not impressive at all. Not big difference in 1.3 and 1.5 Yaris pickup and it's torque is much less than City 1.5.
Yes both are same league cars and should be of similar price but if I was given a change again and has to choose ONLY between city and Yaris, I'll opt for City.

But if I was again given 3.4M budget and has to choose a car in the budget again.. that definitely will not be a city
