I own 1.6 Altis /City 5th Generation and now Yaris . these all cars are post 2018 almost ,Now my experience for me Yaris is non bullshit car specially 1.3 Ativ ,Its functional and under the circumstances value for money (on road price of 2.8 Mil) which is huge considering 2018 but now times have changed and so we should move on with it ,Liked the city 6th generation but driving the 5th for last 3 years ,City is Nicki Dinesh type car not intended to do rough or commercial working (in my line of work specially travelling is lot) motorway non motorway .With waiting time of almost 6 months its really a turn off .For Me among the 2 Yaris is better in drive then 5th generation and little less pleasure as compared to 1.6 (again comparing it with a bigger sedan) any ways 1.3 Ativ is good option in entry level sedan if you are opting for Japanese brand ,For City i would say 1.5 Base version makes lot of sense to me .Rest is all crap for city specially with 6 months time line

Hi All, i haven't got the car which was expected to deliver on or before 30th Oct. dealership saying production is suspended till 11 Nov. is that so? Any news?

Same thing reported to me by my dealer than production will start after 12th due to chip shortage. 1.5s are having more production issues apparently compared to 1.2. Like how they had to stop turbo production but 1.8 is going on for civic. I assume 1.2 demand was predicted to be much higher and so they got a lot of inventory like with the civic 1.8.

You might have to wait till November end now.

Do you also think that The price just doesn't justify the product. The overall drive and feel isn't what you expect to get out of a 3.2mn vehicle (especially when a Corolla is available around the same price to set the mark)

Yar drive is comparable with Corolla. No big difference except Corolla is a bigger car.
I have shifted from Civic X to aspire. Compare to that there is a huge difference.

Also my motorway travel has increase significantly, as I belong to Islamabad and transferred to Lahore.. so City is not preferred drive on motorways. Due to raised height and very loose steering feel, I don't like it's drive on motorway.

Price if compare with Yaris and then compare car.. it's fine as city drive, feel and space is much superior than Yaris. But if compare with Altis 1.6, Altis is a much better car. Only turn down is it's transmission... City transmission and response and acceleration is much better and smooth

it's not that bad, just I was used to civic drive so I don't like it's drive feel on motorway.. btw City seats are much much comfortable than civic x leather seats.

I can kinda relate, once you get used to Civic X's drive, neither City nor Corolla/Yaris or any other similar cars drive feels as good on paved roads.

bhai i will be switching from swift. dont think i would mind.
Though my swift is too well kept with advan db tyres. my mechanics and company drivers are always amazed and happy to drive it considering i treat aspire same way then it will be excellent to drive.

Then you won't like city either. I am also disappointed by the steering feel. The acceleration, gear and seats are good but steering feels soft. On motorway I prefer yaris over city

Better u get any old car and make all these modifications. Honda has raised the height becuase everyone wanted this due to road conditions. Your questions r so ridiculous.
