Unless and until the government provides car bookers protection against car
price increase , paying own seems like a logical thing.

The customers should only pay the price which was at the time of booking , otherwise there is really no benefit of booking a car. The government has failed to regulate the auto industry pricing , and customer has no protection at all. Pakistan is one of the worst hit country environmentally but there are no emission standards , so crash testing for vehicles , no car health check measure anually. Once you do all that , then you can expect a customer to book a car with a peace of mind.

Seeing that many people booked on the first day got the PBO for the same date, I need to ask you guys something. Someone I know booked their car on the first day but the salesperson at the dealership lied to them and entered their booking late into the system. Now they have a March delivery time. What should they do? Consumer court seems like a far fetched idea. Any help here?

Government imposed gain tax to facilitate premium. Its another tax paid by the buyer. In the end. Government gets more money from premium wali cars

My pay order deposit was also delayed by 5 days, I booked the first day. The idiot salesman also entered my 1.5 CVT as 1.2 CVT. At first I had October 31 delivery, which got changed eventually to Feb. There's nothing that can be done unfortunately unless you got a big source. I personally raised hell inside the dealer and didn't take no for an answer. Now they claim I'll get it in November but I don't know whether that's true or not. I've already submitted full payment nearly a month ago.

Went to Honda Avenue Gulberg Greens, 1.2 CVT is available readily on old invoice price with 1.5 lac On. Color is white, I wanted Silver.
Also, only 1.5 has Cruise not 1.2. Is Cruise Control overrated? How useful is this to have as a feature?

Depends how frequent you travel on motorway.

In last 10 years, I have driven on Motorway only once, I only use GT road to go to my hometown and pind in Gujrat

Did you get the receiving on copy of your submitted Pay Order from dealership with their sign and stamp with date. that could be a reference. If dealership is not giving the PBO same day then, I always get the receiving on copy of PO.

It applies till the new car gets registered and if the buyer name is different than the name on invoice. No one registers on his name and sells in 3 months. People book and simply sell. Buyer has to sell ay all the taxes including this one.

U buy an unregistered 2020 car .. u will be paying gain tax plus transfer charges( 20k on civic)

Cruise is useful on motorway only.

Also, for gt road, pind, north, etc., a Corolla or yaris is more suitable. As they have better suspension n ground clearance.

Honda has finally raised this city too, but not sure if it'll have as durable n soft suspension.

Yes, Toyota cars will have softer suspension but I have taken my city to babusar top and there was no issue of ground clearance. Only the shield that protects the engine bay was touched on twice. The rest was fine, Going to hunza, skardu will be fine but if you're planning to chitral, phandar etc, I would not recommend city

With the rush these days on Islamabad - Peshawar motorway cruise will constantly be turned off and you can't use cruise in hilly areas. I have gone multiple times on M1 and I was unable to use cruise for more than a few minutes.

In Pakistan, there is no quality control, no checks on anything.
I have booked 1.5 Aspire CVT and my delivery is of 30 April and now I will pay 33.69 lacs because of City.
Now I feel would have gone for Yaris or even Alsvin and enjoyed drive of new car instead of becoming of Victom of On mafia, Car assemblers mafia and Govt mafia.
this country has literally bacomes Land of Mafia.

Push them hard this week before friday to get car and u will get it in november hopefully. Call them everyday yo make sure that u will get it in november. They r giving in november

No use in everyday life on murree road rawalpindi, express way or gt road
